Own The Dream Ambassador

Brittany Taylor

Brittany Taylor comes from a background entrenched in racing with her grandparents and trainer father, Jim Taylor introducing her to horses when she was just a baby.

Brittany started working for her dad when she was 12 years old and still rides trackwork for him to this day.

She part-owned her first racehorse when she was just 18 and it was the best introduction to ownership she could have asked for. Thateldo won six of his first 13 starts and placed at the other seven.

Brittany and her fellow part-owners were successful in winning Western Australia’s inaugural Magic Millions Racing Women’s Bonus when Surveillance was the first all-female owned horse past the post in the 2020 Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

Brittany has just returned from media work during the extensive coverage of the 2023 Melbourne Cup Carnival and has been an integral part of past editions of this award winning campaign.

The 2024 edition was Brittany’s seventh year with Own The Dream, and she looks forward to welcoming new teams for the 2025 series.
