Stable Tour at Pearce Racing 2 February

Australia’s best racehorse ownership competition begins, and we’ll start the series with a bang! Own The Dream will launch teams into the inner sanctum of thoroughbred racing with four weeks of mateship, comradery, and horse talk to enjoy!

The first event will take teams behind-the-scenes of a racing stable. We will visit the family-owned training establishment of Pearce Racing, based 60 kilometres south of Perth in Karnup. Brothers Dan and Ben Pearce have trained many top horses to win locally and interstate, utilising a heavy sand bush track where they do all their slow-work and gallops. The property can accommodate up to 50 horses with regular access to the beach for pacework and mental soundness.

Dan and Ben will explain how their operation works and how to prepare a racehorse for their big assignment. Here you’ll get an up-close look at what it takes to look after a racehorse and what to expect as an owner in their stable. This sundowner event will include refreshments and an opportunity to meet the Pearce Racing staff and fellow Own The Dream contestants.
