Stallion & Yearling Tour 4 February

This is where the dream begins! The creation of a thoroughbred racehorse takes meticulous planning. Come and find out what it takes to breed a champion racehorse with a yearling, foal, and stallion parade at two prominent Stud Farms in Perth’s north-east region.

We will first visit the pristine Lynward Park Stud, home to Stallions Bondi and Mahuta as well as eight yearlings for sale at the 2024 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale. Stud Master Troy Van Heemst will parade several yearlings and explain what to look for in the conformation of a young racehorse.

Teams will then be transported to the picturesque Yarradale Stud, located nearby in the Gidgegannup Hills. The stud is home to local stallions War Chant and Gingerbread Man, as well as 24 yearlings for sale. A gourmet BBQ and refreshments will be on offer at this venue. We will also announce the First Challenge Winner.
